Hi People.

I came across this site and have been reading with great interest.

Some quick background, I am from Australia and here we have a few Chinese made bikes. They are not that popular and often, sometimes unfairly given a bad reputation.

I recently sold my CF Moto V5. I had the bike for 18 months & generally it was very reliable & the build quality about 8/10. I sold it because I chose to buy a manual bike and wanted a bit more power.

So below are links to some bikes available here:

This looks really nice, very much like the Johnny Pag.

I think a copy of an old virago 400 ?

As you can see our prices are much dearer than you guys pay.

Welcome!

Several members from Down Under hang out here; glad you found us.

I love that Pro Street 350! They've got the Harley Softail and oil bag look figured out, along with the backbone angle. Very nice. The forward controls are a nice touch. 8)

I agree that the Veloce 400 looks like a Virago, but I'd take the Pro Street any day.

Cheers, I glad I found this site also.

I have been doing a ton of research on Chinese cruisers and its been really interesting.

The Laro/Pag bike available here I found had a poor reputation in South Africa where its called something like Regal Raptor.

Even the Hyosung, Korean I know is available world wide and known as Kasinski for example.

FRom what I have seen, the Chinese bikes need to up their quality because they can be serious players. Down here they need to get their parts and dealer networks better established.

That's universal. There's only one local dealer that comes to mind with any real parts inventory, so I do a lot of shopping on eBay.
