Hi All
I found that the correct clutch adjustment on my LF200GY-5 really affects how easy the bike is to shift gears and find neutral.
I noticed something else, however that also contributed. I had replaced my grips with something more comfortable and noticed that when I pulled in the clutch, the lever was coming up against the flange on the inboard end of the grip (not sure what else to call it). This was stopping the clutch from fully releasing unless I pulled harder and compressed the rubber flange. I shaved a bit off the flange so the clutch lever doesn't hit it and found the little bit of extra movement made a real improvement in shifting.
The flange on my replacement grips is about the same diameter as that on the originals. It is a little thicker though and may be harder to compress.
