I have a custom bike with a Lifan 200 engine. I parked the bike about six months ago and it was running fine at the time. Today I brought it out and tried to fire it up. Someone messed with it where it was being stored and left the ignition on. I replaced the spark plug, coil, gasoline, oil, and charged the battery. Bottom of the story is I can't get it to kick start or start with the electric start. I really don't know what the problem could be.

Any suggestions?

Welcome!

The most likely cause that comes to mind is old fuel. I'd drain out the old gas and fill it with good stuff and try again. If you're mechanically minded, I'd also recommend that you remove the carb, remove the float bowl and clean it with aerosol carb cleaner.

If you've never changed the plug, now's a good time. Buy a new NGK and give that a try.

Just to cover a seemingly stupid base, did you check the kill switch? Alot of smaller bikes will still spin the starter with it off, but it won't ever spark.
