just bought a 2003 xtreme dakota motorcycle that has a 162fmj engine , i would like to change the oil, i was going to use a 15w40 motorcycle oil, the oil dipstick is on the right side of engine setting on bike but on the left side of engine on the front is another plug, does this engine have 2 oil areas? of just 1 ? and is there any owners / service manuals that are available for free download on the net. thank you very much

Welcome!

I'm not familiar with your bike, and pics would help us confirm, before we give you inaccurate guidance.

I see the plug your talking about. It's not for oil though, it's for lining up your timing marks when you set the valves. The engine should hold about 1 litre. Here's a rundown on posting pics here, you have to use a host like Photobucket and then paste the image url into the message here: http://chinariders.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=11188

Welcome to the forums :)

thank you, so the only fluids i need to replace are the 15w40 motor oil drain from bottom and put new fluids in where the dip stick is located, also is there any shop service manuals available for download for these motors, thanks

You've got it. I'm not sure on your engine if the drain plug is on the bottom or the side though. On the Zongshen 200cc motors that GIO puts on their ATV's the oil is drained through a large capnut with a screen behind it on the left front side of the motor. Other engines use a conventional drain plug on the bottom. I can't help you on the service manual but hopefully someone else will come along that knows where you can find one :).

Edit: After looking at your picture again I don't see the side drain so I'm guessing that your drain plug is on the bottom.

Chinese calls these as CG150 which is very similar to CG125 (http://world.honda.com/history/challenge/1975cg125/index.html) (Chinese often called these machine just like AK47 -- old tech BUT get the job done ).
The difference (http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.motorfans.com.cn%2Fbbs%2Fviewth read.php%3Ftid%3D16907226%26extra%3D%26originator% 3Dyes) is so tiny that MOST ppl don't bother to change/mod their bike's head after upgraded to 150.
hondacg125.awardspace.com & youtube had the basics.
https://picasaweb.google.com/iondogck/12502 is useless u reads the language.
 FiND Haynes (w/o electric start) & '04 Honda Storm (made in China) pdf that floats around in net IF u want to look deeper. There's also Honda shop manual in Brazilian Portuguese if finds Latin America sites.

I'll bet that there is a large nut near the gearshift shaft. If you remove it, you'll find a washable filter screen and spring behind it. Make sure that you clean the screen at each oil change.
