Hello Mad Max here and I have a question for everyone out there. I ran across a Chon Trail Master 200cc Dual Sport with 181 miles on it for 450.00 and I want to get it but after doing some digging I cant find much info out there on it. I did run across this web site http://qjlehi.tripod.com/id10.html which has the same bike on it down to the T but they call it a Qujos Trail Master 200. Just wanted to know if anyone out there has heard of it or owned one and can point me in the right direction for parts and upgrades. If not do you think a Lifan 200cc 5 speed engine would work without modification to the frame? Thank you for all your help.

Welcome! I'd jump on that bike at that price.

You could put a Lifan engine in there, but why? Both the existing engine and Lifan engines are Honda clones. If you show us a close-up pic of the top of the engine, we can give you more details about it.

The bike is the same as several others out there with different names. Don't be too concerned about the brand, because there really isn't one. Most of the items on your bike are generic and can be found on eBay.

+1.

Hondoids are Hondoids.

That one seems to have a nicer than average seat, and I don't remember seeing one with a gas gauge before.

It looks like it's a vote meter. You can just see a battery symbol at the base of the pointer. It also looks like the meter reads from 9 to 15 volts. I don't recall seeing a volt meter on a CB, though.

What's also strange is that there is a gear position indicator AND a neutral light.

I'd also nab it at $450.

I agree with everyone else. ;) Honda clones (Hondoids) are pretty much all alike; the name doesn't matter. You won't have problems finding parts. I also think $450 is a good price for that bike with only 181 miles on the odometer. :)

Spud :)

Good memory.

That one cost me a Samsung.

Multitasking...

I didn't actually flush it, just dropped it.

If we are going to drift this thread now is a good time to mention my cats are fascinated by the Coriolis effect in the toilet
