The topic of VIN decoding frequently arises in these forums. Therefore, I did a little research, and came up with the following information. To discover the manufacturer of your motorcycle, visit the following website.
http://204.68.195.151/cars/rules/manufacture/
The first 3 letter of the VIN indicate the manufacturer. Enter the first three letters in the WMI box at the website above, and press the "Start Search" button. After the manufacturer's data page loads, download any available files and try to decipher the VIN number. ;)
