I found the stock grips on my Lifan LF200GY-5 kind of hard and uncomfortable. I replaced them with these from JC Whitney:

At $5.99 they are well made and much more comfortable. The only thing I did was to shave a little off the inner flange on the clutch side. I found that the clutch lever was coming up against the flange when I pulled it in.
I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I find that at my steadily advancing age, comfy is good!
