I have a line on a Q.....

Some of you may recall my friend and patient Merle. This is the guy who never rode a motorcycle in his life and bought a 450cc Husaberg Enduro and almost got killed on it! I talked him into selling it and buying a new white 2010 Q from my friend Andy. He learned how to ride on that and upgraded to a KLX, and then diverted more to street and bought a Harley and then a Victory. Yes, Merle is a bit mecurial on his tastes! Good for him he can afford all these changes!

At any rate he sold the Q to his friend Russ, who did not ride it much and now wants to sell it. Who knows, if the price is right I may be a China Rider again!

The bike was perfect, not a scratch. Probably less than a thousand miles...

I'm not sure what function it would add to my stable. I have the KLX250 and the plated YZ400 already... For a commuter I have Little Sweetie. Just not sure when I'd ride it...

I called. It has about 350 miles on it. He says it's in showroom condition and looking to get about $1,500.

Thoughts? Anyone else interested?

The market has changed but who would have thought that a Chinabike would appreciate in value!

If it's in showroom condition with only 350 miles on the odometer, that XP200 is certainly worth $1,500. ;)

I go back and forth on looking at it. It may be a good bike and a good deal, but I've had a couple already and it does not fill a niche for me that is not filled already.

On the other hand I've be a Gen-U-ine Chinarider again...
