SSR's website has prices on the 200 and 250 enduros, but now retailers do,too. $2800 seems to be the dicounted going price from $3k MSRP. Being on a tablet, I cannot link to anywhere, but if you type 'SSR XF250' on youtube, there is a retailer out of New Jersey with a commercial for them. The retailer's website shows the bikes from several angles; much better than SSR's own site. These bikes look best (in my opinion, of course), with the balloon tires versus the motard tires, and I prefer the Quingqi enduros with motard tires over the dual-sport setup (Qlink. XF 200 over the XP 200). Hopefully, the prices will come down to more reasonable levels...

Looks nice and we may just have to accept the days of sub $1,000 CB's are over...

It's a good commercial from a brick and mortar establishment too.

I'm assuming that's the A/C 250cc Suzuki engine?

I prefer 18/21 inch wheels by a wide margin.

You can ride dirt wheels/tires on the road fine, the reverse does not apply.

A modestly low powered 250 is not going to overtax D/S tires on the street.

As usual, I agree on all points, Doc. ;) I'm glad to see new Chinese motorcycles being imported once again into North America. :) However, I still have a very strict, personal limit of $2,000 for any new Chinese motorcycle. ;) I paid $2,000 for my 2005 Honda XR650L with 7,800 miles on the odometer.

I paid $2,100 for my 2004 Honda CRF250X with 140 hours on the clock.

Whenever the price approaches $2,000, I think we are wise to start searching Craigslist for good deals on slighty used, Japanese motorcycles. ;)

Brother Spud!

I see the snow is retreating up the mountains back to oblivion where it belongs!

The CRF-X looks great!

Thank you, Doc. :) I hope we can melt a lot of snow the first two weeks of March. I'm hoping for an early riding season. ;)

good prices, here we pay more. but then, we don t have snow ever :-)

and a smaller market. but even though we have a strong aussie dollar which should bring import prices down, the retailers don t pass savings onto consumers (well they re in it for the dough, after all) and so on and so forth.

lots of money made in the mines, but cost of living is high.

I like going through old threads and CB bikes are still hovering below $1,500

The shop is just down the road from me. Not much in stock with the exception of 110 CC and smaller SSRs and some Chinese buggies... over priced too.

According to SSR the 2017 XF250's will arrive on the U.S. West Coast on June 10th, and then national distribution will begin.
I hope that is true!
