My buddy Ron is moving and wants to sell his HSUN200GY2.

It's in nearly new condition with about 90 miles on it.

I assembled it for him. I also installed taller gearing for better all around use.

May need a battery from sitting in his shop for 2 years.

He bought it when they were $800 new so he's not asking a lot of money.

That's a great deal! With current gasoline prices, that bike will pay for itself in short order! ;)

Spud :)

It's geared up but otherwise stock. I bet on it's worst day it would get 70 MPG.

I would buy it if there was a practical/affordable way to get it to Tucson?. I have searched for some specs.....specifically seat highth as I am pretty tall...have a link maybe? ..waynec

They're probably about the same height as a late '80's XL250. Anybody over 6' will flat-foot, but it's still suitable.

They are tall. Dimentionally they are fairly immense for a 200cc. I would imagine there are not many native Chinese who can fit on them. Maybe once the suspension is sacked with 3 other family members crowded on the bike :-)

it appears as thought the hsun 200gy is yet another implementation of the roketa db07A, which is the same as my shineray...i can get some measurements for ya later today....if i can find my tapemeasure....LOL

Just measured mine, lowest stand over hieght on the seat is 33". I wear a 32"inseam, and am able to flatfoot the bike on level ground, but my backside is planted on the seat.... I am 6'2" btw

Thx for checking that BB. I am 6'4" but I love my Honda Shadow RS and its touted as a small mans ride. This woud suit me just fine I think.
I have searched Kijiji and Ottawa seems to be in a dead zone for Chinese bikes. The east coast and the west coast must have ample dealers to have generated a supply of used machines for sale. Ottawa is skint.
A new Konker here is 3K. A bit more than I want to spend....china or japan origin.

There aren't that many on the West coast, either. There aren't many brands that received TC certification, and those that did command a high dollar. On top of that, China bike dealers are greedy.

The two China dual sports I bought were cheap and abused.

Looks like I may have a Chinabike soon after all....

Ron has not sold the GY, and is moving in 2 weeks. I'm going to be buying his lawnmower and I'll just give him a little extra for the GY I think.

I'll use it as a poor weather commuter, but mostly just to have some 'Street Cred' here on the CHINArider's forum ;-)

Maybe you'll be the jumping point for the next China Rider. I can't recall; is Ron moving very far?

No grass to mow there, but would be a great spot to ride a dual sport.

My plan is to visit him during the winter. Hw has a Harley so I'd rent or borrow a street bike of some sort to ride with him. Agree about D/S though :-)

I know that; I was just kidding. :hehe: I couldn't resist an opportunity to post that video clip. ;)

Did you know Nevada has a Barbie Museum?

Those video clips are from the movie Rat Race, which is a bit juvenile at times, but still hilarious. :lmao:
