The small hose that leads from my carb to the ground leaks gas like crazy. I have a spare bike so I changed out the carbs and the gas tank but the leak continues. Next I am going to try switching out the air box because mine looks like it is cracked. Any suggestions?

I think tomorrow I'm going to open my carb and bend the float arms down like in this video.

Heres what I have found to work best on needle valve leaks. take the float bowl off and remove the floats by pulling out the pin they pivot on (it may only come out one way) take a drill and chuck in a q-tip like you use to clean your ears stick it in to the hole with the drill running for a minute or so to polish and clean the needle seat. Also check the needle for damage or debris.

In case you're not familiar with needle seats, Zombieking, they need to seal when the float bowl is full. If they don't seal, the float bowl keeps filling until the fuel reaches the overflow tube, and then fuel is directed out the hose as you witnessed.

The overflow tube and needle valve act much like a float valve and overflow tube in a toilet. If the valve doesn't close in a toilet tank, the water keeps running.
