lf200 cdi versus honda

could the honda cdi box be sending the spark at a slightly different time than the chinese cdi would because the trigger pickup is at the bottom of the engine instead of at the top like the honda 200 was?if i do need another cdi,which one should i get?

Yes, I suggest you get a Chinese CDI unit. They are inexpensive, and plentiful. I will defer recommending the proper CDI unit to the Hondoid experts. ;)
