I suspect it is the XY400 that we know and fear, but I can't tell...

Yes, that's a variant of the notorious, Xingyue XY400 motorcycle.

Looks like a couple other Chinese bikes in the photo.

Selah Powersports sells QLink motorcycles and other Chinese bikes.

I bet they are clearing out the last of their Xingyue bikes. :ohno:

There's a CL seller in Chilliwack, BC who keeps spamming over-posting the same bikes. Ugh.

I've seen that spammer advertising here!

The dealer in Selah, WA has a good reputation. They have been selling CB's for years. If I'm ever out there (its not far but there is little reason to travel to Selah...) I'll post a report :-)

I also seem to remember that dealer has a good reputation. :) However, I also seem to remember he was selling the Xingyue bikes, and it now appears he is trying to unload the last of them. ;)

Selling that bike AND having a good reputation are not compatable ;-(

As you remember, you weren't the only member of these forums who bought a Xingyue/Pitster Pro XY400, Doc. I wish someone else would come back and give us a long term report on this bike's reliability. ;) However, I have never heard anyone report this bike has been reliable for even 5,000 miles. :ohno:

I made it about 2,000, IIRC.

It's a shame because that bike had so much potential, and they were selling new delivered for $1,500 IIRC. For a time, it was a pleasure to ride. It had fair power and torque, a half decent transmission and suspension and chassis, and was a decent weight. BUT, it is fatally flawed and only an expensive paperweight.

...an expensive paperweight.

I'd like to see your desk ;)
Sad ending for a good-looking motorcycle.

And the nutty price tag of $2850, pretty sketchy site.

Just testing :
