I bought my Roketa DB-05 from them last month. Fair price, $1175 in the crate and $1275 assembled. I wanted the peace of mind and paid the $1275 for the assembled version in BLUE. All said, I had $1384 out the door for the bike with tax, title and 30 day tag! I rode it for a month free of any problems at all. I did have a slight hitch in getting the title. About 3 days short of the 30 days, I called and inquired about my title. She said they hd been sent the wrong MSO for my bike from the distributor and were waiting on the correct one. It took almost two more weeks, but I do have my title in hand and very happy overall with the lady in charge of doing all their paperwork. She returned calls promptly and was very courteous during the whole process, calling me several times and letting me know what was happening and when she expected the title and when it would get mailed. I strongly recommend this dealer and his staff to anyone looking for a Roketa. I think he also sells Diamo brand. The purchase experience was also top notch! very helpful employess and very knowledgeable in their products. It is easy to find and off on a side street for easy in/out. That's Affordable ATV in Mansfield, Ohio.

Yes this is an old thread but it was the only thread I could find about this dealer. This is what the ripoff report has to say.

Does anyone know what manufacturer makes the Roketa dual sports?

It’s really hard to get a response from them, I requested were can I get a certain model and they never respond. That’s really self defeating, not identifying the dealers and not tracking inventory within them.

Disorganized and that will kill them…..

This points out a dealer locally or at least near me, It should not be such an adventure to find who has products.

As far a a couple of years ago, Shineray were the OEM for most of Roketa's dirt bikes. They probably still play a large part of Roketa's lineup, but Roketa have expanded greatly with several other manufacturers' bikes shown on their site nowadays.

Yes and they also sell blankets, dolls and even frying pans?
That’s not very confidence building is it?

Do the Roketa dealer also sell those products?

This is a 250cc bike manufactured by Shineray:

Roketa is asleep at the switch...maybe with a blanket and a ceramic doll?

How about this 200cc bike also manufactured by Shineray:

How about this 200cc bike...this one could launch a fad...seriously.

I like that first 250 a lot, but I'm really diggin' that 200 Dual Sport with the racks. I'm imagining it with an olive drab tank; total military machine.

Not for sale in the US? Its more than likely being sold in EU and definitely in Asia.

That bike the first one I would buy….but it would have to be well under $3,000.00 after tax an title and have a 3D dealer behind it.

The second I also would consider if under $2K and the third as well…that’s after tax and title and I would want a 2 year warranty on the major components.

As for the military bike that one would need to be under $1,500.00 out the doors and with a matching half helmet, it needs after market storage for the racks, something that clips on them.

I have the utmost respect for Shineray and those that work so diligently….as for Roketa….not so much.
Can you tell I would like to work for them? Hell I would love to work in Chinese motosports in the US... somebody needs to.

Affordable ATV is nearly giving away the DB-07 and DB-07A, both under twelve hundred….are these Shineray bikes? The pictures they have are distorted, once again not confidence building.

The DB-07A

The DB-07

Yep they are Shineray.

Any differences between the two beyond the DB-07A having inverted forks? Things you would like to know. I think they are old models both of them, what year are these? IS everything 2006, 2007 or maybe 2008 in the US? Maybe I am wrong?

I see better looking models on the Shineray site….IMO

Like this bike:

Is this because the models are evolving and the US inventory is all backed up like a fat persons drains. Oh I do not know maybe flush twice or three times…just clear the pipes already.

I like the DB-05 and they can be bought for a song, but can anyone tell me how good a bike it is?
I see a dude that bought one and posted on this site, he disclosed issues with brittle plastic and I am not seeing him posting lately.

amc31b is the screen name….you still around guy?

Damn this web site is selling Zongs 200GY for $1499.00 delivered. http://www.mxmotorsports.us/ calling them Motobravos? I already bought an XP200...I new I would see those come back around. They are also selling the GS-250 and calling them Motobravo as well.

Then looking at the http://www.motobravo.us/New_Arrival.htm site I can see them there as well. The GY but not the GS though….

Something happened….

The local dealer here new something was up…I think… they said they would not be ordering anymore and with no reason….

That’s all unsettling…did Zongshen America fail? I think so...

no, zongshen did not fail, as a matter of fact i think they have improved with a new g.m. who seems to be doing a wonderful job. recently many have went out of the business, dealers and distributors. one of the reasons the zongs MAY have been available to these guys is a large dealer went under and containers of zongs went to the npr auction and sold at dirt prices, killing the price of the bikes.

They are capitalized by Zongshen International, they are part of Zongshen PEM Power Systems INC.

The sales fell and the invested capital lost near 75% of its value. The stock went from $4.00 a share in 2008 to $1.12 today

Obviously they have to figure out what to do….one option is to give up, the other is to invest further in, is that what they are doing?

It is not just people buying the products, but obviously that’s pretty much the source of revenue…it is also having capital to improve the system. That comes only with capital from the parent company or a bank and also compounded in stock appreciation.

The web sites are not being maintained, investors and customers see that. Then guys like me see inventory liquidations and its not at all positive, no matter what spin you put on it, it just isn’t.

Zongshen international needs to take control and they need to get the websites in order. They could have and should have gotten control of the inventory and sold that through existing dealers. IMO reduced the prices and beefed up warranty it’s all reputation at this stage and weathering the storm.

I have to wonder what they are thinking….maybe that nobody really knows who they are yet? They may come out with larger displacement bikes and through the venture with Harley have access to all the Buell designs, they may be tooling up to make versions of them as we speak. I would and poised to undercut the big four.

But that will take dealers and margins on unit sales that are competitive in actual dollar profit per unit and that could be attainable. But they have to have some plan to garner stock appreciation and also interest of the consumer as well as dealer support.

What is happening today is all recorded, the product satisfaction and seeing the product being sold on unassociated internet sites is not good if they plan to be bigger in the market. Its about clearly defining the North American product lines and on a well designed website and then also defining the sales/service dealer network. If you want one and were you can get one.

The majority of buyers are not interested in being a hunter gatherer for parts, if needed. Some are but that’s a niche market, the big main market is the big four. They have to do better for less, but in that they cannot screw the dealers.

If they get it right people buy the bikes, then people also buy the stocks. It cycles up and everybody wins…except the big four.

I think getting one of these bikes today is a good deal, I also think I may buy some stock...it the harley partnering and the timing that is interesting.
