here are the taobao links i ve collated from other posts. so if you have electrical trouble, here are are a few items:

the CDI (an AC unit)
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.150.dMhuEl&id=15891162209

the regulator (thanks for those links, spudrider :-)
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.313.4PECuU&id=5087002916

the stator
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10.5.w4002-1296090861.52.9SFOvY&id=17160255738

it took me some time to find the stator, but the two links humanbeing posted were very helpful

http://shop58872360.taobao.com/ | http://shop63316901.taobao.com

now i m wondering how to find dual headlights like matasar's on taobao :hmm:
and if you are like me and want to avoid using paypal, tbtrends.com take western union...

Thanks for all the links. Any reasons for not using paypal or just a preference?

just a duckduckgo search for paypal and scams dissuaded me from going near it. one of the links is http://www.screw-paypal.com/history.html . i don t think the rhetoric of the site helps its cause, but there have been some rather bad experiences.
so i don t mind going to the post office...

Thanks for posting the useful links. :) I use PayPal all the time. Thankfully, I haven't had a bad experience yet. Some vendors in the U.S.A. only accept PayPal.

Most of the problems I have heard of with paypal have been related to naive users. I have never had a problem in 10 years. Don't care for the fees they charge.
