I really wanted to buy the new Star Trek - Into Darkness Blu-Ray, but I didn't want to pay the $30.00 that Walmart wanted.

I found a seller on eBay who is offering it for $16.99. I received it three days later. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/380716076264?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 :D

Hard to believe they found such good actors to play classic William Shatner, Lenard Nemoy, Deforest Kelly, etc. Great movie X2! Another of my 'addictions'! Great price for a new release Blu-Ray!

Son of Weldangrind and I have already seen it, but we'll definitely enjoy it a few more times.

I agree; they assembled a very good, new cast. :)

Nice score, Weld!

I agree also. I appreciate how they've incorporated some of the original dialogue and characters into the modern versions as well. As an example, Bones said to Spock, "Are you out of your Vulcan mind?" in both the original Wrath of Khan movie and the 2009 Star Trek movie. Also, the 2009 Star Trek movie and the current Into Darkness movie both reference Captain Christopher Pike, who was the original Enterprise NCC-1701 captain in the 1964 pilot, well before William Shatner became Captain Kirk.

Yeah, I gotta get back into the shop soon. :wtf:

JJ Abrams seems to have carried on the Gene Roddenberry original concept. Timeless story telling that applies to today.
