Hey. I've a 2008 cpi smx 50. AM6 water cooled 6 speed box. Only has 2000 on the clock but used daily for last 6 months. I change the gearbox oil frequently and use only the best 2 stroke oil. Recently topped up all fluids and all was fine..
Tonight, while warming up it got lumpy and the engine overheat light came on but the block was cold and water barely warm when I checked filler cap.. Light stayed on and performance was poor so turned round and brought home the company car instead. Had only been running for ten mins and was perfectly fine on the way in this morning..
Its dealer de restricted so chugs along at 50mph without effort..
Any ideas as will do my head in trying to find solution?!
