Hello,

I'm new to this community. My name is Hansi and I'm from Germany.
I already own a small 50cc China Dirtbike. I was always into Motocross and found this bike on Ebay Germany

After a bit research I found the manufacturers Homepage

The model ist called XB-31A

What to do you think about this cool bike?
Is it ok for starting Motocross and small jumps?
The Price is 899€ or equal to 1236$, ist this a reasonable price for this bike
I have to say that I also ride Mountainbike Downhill and I'm used to jump my bike 15-20ft or more.

Looks like another one listed as having a 19" front wheel and 16" rear which is not a full-size bike.

I'm not sure I'd be comfortable jumping a chinabike 15 or 20 ft or more....I'm worried enough jumping it 2 to 3 ft in my backyard. Don't get me wrong...I love by bike and abuse it thoroughly.

I look at a similar one today and I think I would be comfortable on it for about 5' jumps. The frame/suspension looked to be up to the task.

I just saw another Version of that bike. When you look at the Xmotos.com Site, Version XB-31C has 21" front wheel and a 18" rear wheel.
The wheel base an the overall measurements are similar to a full size 250cc bike from a major Japan manufacturer.

A Dealer near my Place has this Version for 850€ or 1171$

Where is problem jumping the bike? Weak frame, bad suspension or something else?

Take a look again and tell me what you see WRONG.

Do the people selling things even look at the pictures they post.

That just backs up the dealers and the prep that is needed on these.

I'd bet bruce wouldnt let one go out like that but if it got dropped at someones house like that it might get missed.

From what I understand is that is a part that has to be assembled on these after shipping. It is not a one that the factory installed.

Slapped it togethor for the photos I bet...But it is scary because people do forget to double check things like that sometimes.

I am sure mine is fine as I check all the bolts, but I think I will look it over again.

I looked at a similar one and I asked a few questions to the "mechanic" to see how they prepped the bikes. They seem to be doing a decent job, but from what I got they didn't go over the bike to check for loose fasteners. He did say they adjusted the carbs and changed the plugs to NGKs.

That one in the picture is one they have to put it during assembly.

Not really a good eye since that nut just jumps out at ya like it's 3D or something but it always bothers me that people take pictures of things they are selling with stupid stuff like that wrong on it.

We went for a short ride sunday near the house at this field that my wife likes to put around in and I was just messing around on my bike and looking at the chain as I was stopped and noticed the swing arm bolt was a little loose.
I guess it was my fault since I had lubed the swing arm pivot (probably to much lube).

i got this bike about a month ago and after putting the back shock on and tightening every bolt on the bike, then taking the cheesie ass stickers off, I beat the piss out of it for a month straight . I havent had any problems with it and still runs great .
