Aerial reconnaissance of wilderness riding area

Some of you may recall Roger and I sometimes ride on 10,000+++ acres of wilderness area on the Snake River. It is managed by a patient of mine and he kindly gives us permission to ride there.

We will be going there tomorrow so I wanted to refresh my memory so last Wednesday I scouted it out from above again. It was a hazy day so pics are not great but I thought I'd share them as they seem interesting.

I shot two off-airport landings there but was in no position to photograph them!

Hard to tell in the pics but the higher dunes were about 400 feet above the surrounding terrrain. This could be fun!!!

I think I said this last time, but it looks like a real-life version of Microsoft Motocross Madness. That will be an amazing place to ride.

We will be heading there early this afternoon when I'm done with work. Much warmer weather today, should be nice.

Since we have access to this land, I'm considering re-taking up hunting. I saw some game there past few visits...
