The Scorpion Stinger batteries are made in China. I cannot vouch for the quality of manufacture for these batteries, since I had two fail on me, as detailed in the following thread. :wtf:

The creator of this thread is not convinced the Scorpion LiFePO4 batteries are manufactured as well as EarthX, AntiGravity, and Shorai LiFePO4 batteries. ;)

In typical Chinese fashion, the Scorpion LiFePO4 batteries are being rebadged, and sold by several different vendors. ;) For example, the Western Power Sports Featherweight batteries are identical to the Scorpion LiFePO4 batteries.

According to the ADVRider thread I mentioned in a previous post, the quality of the Chinese LiFePO4 batteries might be suspect. However, the price is certainly appealing, and at least the Scorpion LiFePO4 batteries have a 2-year warranty. :tup:

I'd like a light 12 volt battery with bolt on connectors that is leakproof that can sit in a coat pocket. I want it to run my gloves and/or vest while on the YZF. How can I begin to track down what I need?

Do you need a special charger for lithium battries? Are the different brands alike?
