I picked a 2006 lifan 200 cc really nice condition other than it has no spark? I haven't really dug into yet. Previous owner says he replaced the cdi but didn't work.

Please walk us through your process. How did you confirm that there is no spark?

Pulled the plug and set it on to engine no arch when pushing starter

Thanks for the clarification. I've read of people holding the plug away from the engine, expecting the spark to jump to the plug.
If you choose to work backwards, you could connect a simple test light (cheap at HF) to the leads that power the coil. Upon pressing the starter button, you should see the test light flash. If it flashes, there is either a problem with the coil, the coil wire or the plug end (all of which I've seen).
If you don't have power to the coil, I'd suspect the CDI, even though it's new.

I forgot to mention that there are some clever fake NGK plugs out there. If you haven't already purchased a new NGK, it's money well spent.

Do you have the model number on the swingarm? I have a 2006 LiFan Ive always been told its a 150cc but this guy that worked on it is telling me its a 200cc just wondering.

A DR8ES is a safe bet in warmer climates. DR7ES is a little hotter, and would be suited to cold weather. You can also likely run a non-resistor plug (like a D8ES), since the plug boot probably has a resistor in it.

Tell us the number that is stamped right near the gearshift. We can likely decode it.

got it running like a champ, the wires coming out from the case rubbed on the frame and one broke and one was sliced up. Put a DR8EA in it. best 200 bucks i ever spent!

Idle seems low around 1000rpm bike says 1500rpm. What's the best way to adjust it?

Not sure what you're saying. Are you saying that the tach reads 1500rpm, but you think it's actually 1000?

Charge up the battery and then measure the voltage with it in the bike and the engine off. Start the bike and measure the voltage again. You should see about 12.5-13.2 with the engine off and about 14 with the engine on. Depending upon your CDI and regulator setup, you might need to rev the engine a little for a charging response.

That is good. Your charging system is working well. :) How old is your battery? Perhaps it's time to buy a new one. ;)
