I have a tank khaos 250. My rear wheel cush bushings look like they ripped out. The previous owner decided to drill holes and mount the sproket directly tothe wheel. The cush bushings are round press in ones, so what I'm wondering is wherewere the bolts that hold the sprocket on originally? Were they behind the bushings with the threads coming through the center of the bushings? I'm used to the kind where there's a hub attached to the sprocket and it completely off. Maybe mine is missing the hub or ...? Any help would be great.thanks... and where can I find the stock cush bushings?

They are a bit confusing to look at, especially if somebody messed with them.

It sounds like your hub is patterned after the XR185 / XL185, which uses an odd fastener to secure the sprocket. It is machined smooth on one end and simply slides into the bushing, and the other end is threaded, to accept the retaining nut.

The whole deal is odd, because it looks like there is nothing to stop the sprocket from walking out, but there is a large circlip that retains the sprocket to the hub.

I recommend that you buy new Honda bushings and bolts from www.bikebandit.com (http://www.bikebandit.com) or www.rockymountainatvmc.com (http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com)

Thanks for the help everyone. I started searching last night and figured out how it all bolts together. My rim edge is broken off where the big c clip is supposed to go, so I think that's why the old owner drilled the holes and bolted the sprocket to the rim. Since I can't buy any tank brand parts I'm going to get some rtc250 wheels.

You don't have to buy Tank parts specifically. Roketa, Lifan and others used exactly the same rear wheel.

If a drum brake I think the honda xl185 wheel will fit too.
