My seat pan is busted at 2 out the 3 mounting points. Any ideas for a replacement? I was going to recover the ugly thing until I found that.

Show us the bottom of the seat, and perhaps we can tell you if other models are the same.

Here it is. The back two mounts are busted clean through the pan.

My suggestion is to remove the vinyl and the foam and then use some sheet metal to make a large washer. Drill some holes and remount the brackets.

I was hoping for a less gay looking seat! Lol

No one would know. After you repair the mounts reinstall the foam and the vinyl cover. This would also be the time to add/remove foam. The washers would be under the foam.

I guess I could cut the pan to lean the front of the seat forward while I was there.

X2. You could even bridge the mounts on the top side of the plastic to add more strength.

I used something called Daytona vinyl, which is apparently UV-resistant. I bought enough to cover two seats for around $10.00.

You'll likely find an electric carving knife for cheap at the local thrift shop; they're perfect for carving foam. Say hi to Macklemore.

i did a layered yogamat cutoffs / sheepskin (from old car seat cover) seat upholstery recently, it is the most comfy seat i ve ever had and it cost the glue and half of a 10 $ mat. it also looks fabulatastic, if you don t mind me saying so myself :D

The hibird should be the same seat as the Lifan GY-2 model ( as opposed to the far more popular GY-5 model). I believe the GY-2 should also be similar to the same vintage Shineray(who were the OEM for Roketa at the time wheen Roketa had far less bikes options and would rebrand GY200s OEMd by Shineray as their own brand). As a rule of thumb, the majority of the GY200 (and the GY150 and GY125 which were going away for the 200s) were interchangeable as far as seats and frames, etc. I believe even alot of the plastics were interchangeable. This would have been around 2000-2006 or even later. However, some of the manufacturers started to move away from the GY200 look in the mid-2000's which is where you get slightly different bikes like Lifan‘s popular GY-5 bike.

Do any of those seats NOT look like and over stuffed deformed couch?

Probably not--The Chinese figured we are all fat and lazy, so simply made the seats that way!
