I have an 07 200-gy5 with the "new" balanced engine. The book that came with it (printed in 04) has the specs for adjusting the valves but the specs are for the old motor. I'm just wondering if it's the same for the new motor. What do you think?

Valve adjustment procedure on the OHC motor. I think the book specs might be for the pushrod version.

Yes the book specs are for the push rod version, which is what is on my bike, but its the "new ballanced" motor. I guess the top end is pretty much the same as the old vibration generating motor. Just the bottom half looks a little different. Just wondering if the old and new push rod valve specs are the same. I guess I could call Lifan and ask.

I was thinking that the 07 GY5 was a OHC. If it is the pushrod then the book specs are probably right. I don't see any reason for it to be different.
