Since I'm going to use the bird for mainly road riding, do you guys have any suggestions for a little stiffer rear shock? Something a little more sporting and less pogo stick ish.

You can put a rear shock off a Yamaha R6. I put one on my bike which is similar to yours.
It is not a direct fit, about 1/4 longer than the stocker IIRC.

Any special tricks making it fit? Or just compress it, bolt on and ride away?
