Saw this on the local news last night. These guys are retracing the 1914 route ridden by Edwin 'Cannonball' Baker, starting in San Diego and spending the first night here in Yuma. My guess is it will go a lot smoother than Baker seeing the list of sponsors, including Yamaha. I wonder why Indian did not go for sponsorship?

They will be stopping in Yuma for the night and having some sort of gathering at the historic state prison (where the 3:10 to Yuma was supposed to go), but I can imagine a bunch of guys with small manhood and big bikes will all be assembled at the gathering so I will probably stay away!

It did get me thinking that perhaps one day one of us, on a Chinese bike, could do this (or a few of us) which would be more in the spirit of the adventure as far as archaic bikes are concerned, LOL.

If I lived closer, I'd be all over an adventure like that.
