V Thunder stalling when i give it throttle

Ok so i just got my hands on an 06 V thunder. I have had it for 2 days and have slowly been making progress with the issue. When I got it, it would start but sounded like is was revving up a little and then would fall back down at idle. Last night I got it to a steady idle. But after i let it sit and warm up, when i go to get on the throttle, it just cuts out and stalls.

Have you cleaned the carb? I bet the jets are partially clogged.

And make sure you have a clean air filter before fiddling with carb settings (after you clean it!).

Does it have an accelorator pump on the carb? It might not be accuating it if it does.
