Hi!

I'm new (hence my introduction)...

I acquired what I call my Dubious Chinese Honda CR50 (chonda) a few years ago, and that is actually working quite well. I put street tires on it and ride it in parades (I'm a Shriner).

My reason for joining is that I'm looking for info on a Chinese ATV that I was given last year. My neighbor was going to junk it as his kids have outgrown it.

I'll be pulling it in to the garage soon and tearing off the broken swing arm.

I _*think*_ it is a TaoTao 110H. The sticker on the swingarm says 149CC, but I haven't taken a look at the head yet. There are some other bits that are broken, but the swing arm is the main concern right now.

Once I ID the little beast, I hope it is easy to get parts. I haven't been able to find a replacement for the swingarm yet...

Pics, hopefully, are attached...

Welcome--would love to see the Shriner bike! You don't say if you are in the US or not, but Taotao's US site is:

Yes, I'm in the US. It is a 2007 model, as far as I can tell. Jug says 107cc.

Attached is a pic of my Baja Dr49 "CHonda"

Welcome!

My dearly departed Grandfather thanks you and the Shriners before you. He was born with spastic paralysis, and the Shriners gave him crutches in the mid-20's and taught him how to use them.

The 107 on the jug is the actual displacement, and most manufacturers round up to 110. I can't figure out why it says 149 on the tag.

Perhaps the swingarm can be repaired. Do you have a friend with a welder?

Welcome; we are glad you joined us. :hi:

Chonda is a great name for your bike. My other favorite names are:

Zong for my Zongshen 200GY-2
Lifanda for a Lifan clone of a Honda

Here's a photo of LaFawnduh from the movie, Napoleon Dynamite, filmed in nearby, Preston, Idaho. ;)

Pretty sure your atv is not a 149cc. Most likely a 110 or 125.

I agree. Jug says 107cm^3, so 110 it is.

I'm hoping to pull the swing arm tonight
