A pilot landing on a German island almost hits a sunbather. :wtf: Indeed, the pilot severely undershot this landing, but why was the sunbather lying so close to the runway? :ohno:

I would LOVE to land on that runway!

The pilot was certainly low, it appears he took out a fence, but he did make the runway. He was negligent in not seeing the fence or the (stupid) sunbather.

People are oblivious to thier surroundings nowadays. After all why look out for yourself when the govenment will do it for you?

That pilot was lucky the fence didn't kill him. He did land short of the runway. ;)

Spud, on watching the clip again, you are right. He landed a little short and then sort of skipped onto the runway.
