Thanks. I'd already tried Hooper and ebay. Hooper is sold out, and no hits on ebay. Just tried Taobao.com but can't seem to find the speedo in a search.

I called redoakcycles.com on Monday, and a guy named Phil answered the phone with a "hello" after a lot of ringing. He claimed that he "had one on the shelf"', but to call another day because they are closed Mondays. Didn't seem too professional to me. Anyone ever deal with Red Oak Cycles/ Star Motors?

I just bought the bike a couple weeks ago and the speedo and tach were missing. I'd use anything that works in order to get the bike registered , but have no clue as to parts compatibility.

Had an idea when I read what you said about someone having a good search term for Lifan GY-5 parts. I cut and pasted the Chinese writing next to the model numbers in the link you provided, and it appears that 托车-方仪表/倒叉用 里程表 = "speedometer".in English. Got a buttload of hits with it. Now just have to look at pictures.

I've looked at them, but would prefer the stock speedo with turn signal indicators etc.

FWIW, TT makes what they call a 'dashboard' with all the indicator lights, if you can't find what you are looking for.

Thanks. I think I found the speedo on taobao.com. I took SpudRider's thought about search terms to google translator, and tried a few combinations until 力帆gy5转速表t got a direct hit. It's a Km/h for a whopping $10.16 + $22 shipping. Made payment through http://en.agreetao.com , which was accomplished by simply cutting and pasting the taobao.com product URL into a field and clicking go.

Anyways, appreciate your and SpudRiders willingness to help.
