Welcome; we are glad you joined us. :hi:

Do you periodically inspect the spokes, and tighten them? If not, loose spokes are prone to break. ;)

It is not safe to keep riding the bike with three broken spokes. The remaining spokes will continue to break if you don't replace the broken spokes.

Unless it is bent, your rim is probably in good condition. You need to replace the broken spokes, true the wheel for radial and lateral symmetry, and then tighten all the spokes. ;) I do have some Zongshen front spokes I can sell you. You can also send a sample spoke to Buchanan's Spoke & Rim, and they will sell you custom spokes to fit your Zong. :)

Finally, you can acquire some Lifan spokes, cut them to the correct, shorter length, and thread them with the appropriate die.

As another option, you can purchase a complete front wheel for your Zong from Taobao.com in China.

You can buy an 18-inch tire from many local vendors, as well as online vendors. :)

:thanks:

You probably can. I've used old 36 spoke Honda (which are actually DID) rims with China hubs. I'm actually respoking one right now with stainless spokes from Buchanans.

The rim size should be engraved on your current rim. ;) You can replace the rim with any rim of the correct size, as long as it has the same number of spoke holes, with the same hole diameter. If the spoke holes are too small, the spoke nipples will not stay inside the rim. ;)

The tire size should be printed on your old tire. You can replace the tire with any other tire of the correct size. ;)

Are you lacing the Lifan front wheel? If so, did you need to purchase custom spokes, or did you find Honda spokes which fit the Lifan wheel?

Yes, it's the Lifan front wheel. It's hard to believe, but the rim is still straight! I went ahead and ordered custom SS spokes from Buchanans.

The rim is unbent? That is amazing.

I suspect you sent them a Lifan spoke, which they copied. If so, did you ask them to keep a record for that custom spoke? If so, others can order the same spoke from Buchanan's, without sending a sample spoke, as long as you share the name you recorded with them. :)

Certainly. In fact, I've already ordered spares, and they simply looked to their records to produce more spokes for me.
