I'm sure its been done but has anyone painted the plastics on there bike i'd like to do it to mine to change it up and cause its starting to peel on gas tank. What paint to use and how'd it come out.

You may be out of luck on the gas tank if its is not metal.

Several of us have had good results with Krylon Fusion. It comes in many colours, and it is quite durable on plastic.

agreed.... I painted the side covers on my bike flat black with krylon fusion... they have held up decent so far... just make sure to lightly scuff the plastic, and clean it with mineral spirits on a rag to get any oils off before painting.

I agree, just saying it will not last on a plastic fuel tank.
If you want a matte finish that can be re-done easily you can try Plastidip. I posted a review of it some time ago.

Krylon Fusion is great for plastic. However, no paint will remain on a plastic fuel tank. :ohno:

I think he may be referring to the shroud around it, and not the actual tank itself?
