On July 23, 2014, I took my trusty Zong for a ride to the Blackfoot Reservoir in East Idaho.

Along the way my Zong recorded 65,000 miles (104,607 kms) on the odometer. :)

The Zong reached this milestone at the following location.

As I approached the Blackfoot Reservoir, I stopped to capture the following photographs. :)

Riding along the east side of the reservoir, I stopped to admire the view several more times.

Taking a different route home, I stopped for a rest in the restored town of historic Chesterfield. :)

The 'newer' gasoline pump has the price set for 39 cents per gallon. Indeed, those were the 'good old days.'

I wonder if I can get even half of your mileage out of the TMEC? I am up to over 1300 miles on the '13 since new in two months, so quite alot to go!

I wish you good luck with your TMEC 200, Culcune. :) Start riding; you only have 64,000 miles to go before you catch me. ;)

I am closer than I thought! I just checked the odometer and I have 2716 kms which came out to 1629 miles when I multiplied it by 0.6...

I am waiting on the 100K report. Spud, I keep my eye out for a Zong. It never shows up in SE Kansas.

Keep looking; they show up occasionally. However, used Zongs are pretty much as scarce as hen's teeth. ;)

Spud, here is what I like about your photos. Several years ago, some artist took a random sofa and placed it in different geographic locations around the country (maybe even the world) and took photos at each location. Even though there was not much reasoning for a sofa, I liked the idea because I like photos of geographic locations.

Your photos are more localized, but seem to convey the same idea, but with more purpose--a motorcycle in different geographic locations; more purpose because that is how you got to the places (sofas don't go anywhere)!!

That's an interesting perspective, Culcune. ;)

I post photographs of my motorcycles in various motorcycle forums because people in those forums like motorcycles, and enjoy viewing photographs of them. ;) I also enjoy viewing the photographs, which remind me of riding to various, scenic locations via the motorcycle. In many instances, the only motorized vehicle which could reach those locations was a motorcycle. :)

A TW with a foreign visitor is welcome too.

I would love to visit you sometime, Allen. :) Of course, you are always invited to come to Idaho and ride the Zong; I will show you some nice trails and beautiful scenery. :D

Maybe the three of us could find a common mid-point.

SpudRider

Idaho is ideally located between British Columbia and Kansas. ;) If you both can make it, we can go riding together. Weld can bring one of his bikes down from Abbotsford, and Allen can ride the Zong. :)

Looks like you have a trail tech vapor on the Honda. How do you like it? I was thinking of putting one on the TMEC.

I love my Trail Tech Vapor computer. It's especially nice to have the temperature sensor for the coolant on a bike with radiators. In addition, I really like having a tachometer, since the CRF250X motor can rev over 12,000 rpms. :wtf: I try to keep engine rpms reasonable so I don't punish my valve train. ;)
