Try Hooper Imports www.hooperimports.com
If they can't get it, a few members have used taobao from China. Taobao is sort of like a Chinese Ebay. I can't figure it out for the life of me, but some members swear by it. Member 'Humanbeing' lives in China and knows his way around taobao as far as ordering parts, but the trick is to find a taobao agent who handles your order for you. From what I understand, the parts are quite low-cost as compared to ordering from a place (actually, probably only ONE place) like Hooper.
Others will chime in, too...
Welcome!!

Welcome; we are glad you joined us. :hi:
Besides Taobao and Hooper Imports, you might also check eBay for those parts.

Ebay or Taobao is probably the best bet for those parts.

I agree. ;) For some reason, Larry Hooper seems to have problems getting parts lately. :hmm:

Thank you for your suggestions, much appreciated!
Translating Taobao is fun isn't it?
In the meantime the warehouse manager for Hooper Imports has emailed me saying he has the parts in stock. He only works on Saturdays so it might take a while to place the order and have them delivered.
I'll let you know how it goes ;)
If the seat doesn't show up soon for my Lifan I'll ride it standing up!

Larry probably has some parts yet. I had a bunch of seats, but sold them all.

Yahoo
I found a company in Texas who have the parts in stock. They replied quickly, accept Paypal and deliver within 10 days.

Glad to read this! This makes sense because American Lifan (the unofficial/official Lifan importer--at least they felt they were the official-est importer until Larry Hooper sued them successfully after they served him with cease and desist orders trying to question his Lifan import business; he imported bikes and parts at the time, directly from Lifan) were located in Texas, so these guys might have been the people who picked up after them, so to speak.
There are rumors that Lifan will once again start selling product here in the US, this time their headquarters will be somewhere in the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area.
