HI Bird QH 250 GY 250cc

Need info on the wright size pulley puller and need info on how to set cam and flywheel timing chain , as I think it jumped time as the chain tension was never used to keep chain tension. So I need a diagram on how to set timing.
It's a Honda clone I just don't know what Honda engine.:hmm: P.S Year 2007

Put the cam bolts back in, and then remove the two chrome screw covers on the left side engine cover. Insert a socket through the center hole, and rotate the engine counter-clockwise until a T appears in the upper hole.

There is a line next to the T, and it must line up with a notch in the viewing hole. When it lines up, the horizontal lines on the cam sprocket will line up with the valve cover mounting surface. If it does, everything is happy.

Does it seem like there isn't enough cam chain tension?

For reference, I believe the Hi Bird bikes were Lifan related. I think Hi Bird might have actually been a subcontractor of sorts for Lifan--some of their bikes looked identical, and their old website kind of referenced a connection. My guess is the engine is related, or an actual, 223cc Lifan. I bet Humanbeing can confirm or correct me on this...

Sorry, I failed to respond to this question. This engine is referred to as a CB250 in China bike circles, not to be confused with the CB250 twins that were released in North America. A virtually identical engine is being produced by Honda for Euro and Asian markets, but we don't get it here (except in Chinese form).

It is closely related to the Honda XR200 / XR230, but the cylinder stud spacing is larger on your engine. That changes everything in the top end. There is a ton of parts available for your engine on www.taobao.com; just search for CB250.
