SSR/Qlink XF adjustable front fork help

I am wondering if anyone has tips for adjusting the front fork on the qlink or ssr xf bikes? The + and - symbol on the center remind me of mountain bike shocks, but I see no labels on the secondary adjustment screw. There is no references to adjustment in the manual for the ssr.

the screw of to side is a air bleed.....
put some bleeders in there...a quick push bleeds the air out..
As you ride over rough ground the air in the forks heats up
& exspands making the forks harder....

google fork air bleeders... they are dirt cheap...

My Honda CRF250X has twin chamber forks. For my CRF250X, the center screw controls compression damping. I turn the screw clockwise for harder damping, and counter clockwise for softer damping. The outer screw is an air bleed screw. However, I neither know the design, nor the operation for your QLink XF200 forks. ;)

Ok thanks. I need them a bit firmer so I will be sure not to bleed any then. I think my old xl had a schrader valve to add air.

I wish I had seen this earlier to ask--are these in any way related to Suzuki's design, besides the engine? Also, have you tried the Qingqi gurus--JP Motorsport?

I would really like to see a qlink or ssr parked next to a suzuki to find out what other similarities there are. Interesting enough, when the SSR had to go to a shop for collision repair(bad moving/storage accident) I found out that the local Suzuki/KTM dealer is also a SSR service/sales center. The Suzuki guys were more than happy to work on the XF and one of them said that it looked like it was assembled with Suzuki quality control reject parts.

On the suspension tuning issue, + 3/4 of a turn on both sides made a VERY noticeable difference in a good way, I just hope both sides are doing an equal amount of work.

How many clicks can you turn it? I turned my front forks 15 clicks clockwise and didn’t really notice a difference

15 is probably.about right. I no longer think the adjustment made much difference on my front forks. I'm I terested.to know if you have success with these.
