So i just traded into a KPX Z200 that was running until the throttle cable broke.the cable and carb has been change and now it won't start.I've owned a few dirt bikes but never a chineeseone so I figure I would ask the experts their opinions on it.

Welcome!

Let's start with the basics. Do you have spark?

Have you pulled the carb apart to check the jets? Maybe one is clogged with debris.

So i took the carb apart it was clean as a whistle.turns out the clip was all the way down i put it on the 3rd spot and set my low speed to 2 turns out and she fired right up.Road around for about 30 mins then died now i have no spark.Joy.so i've changed the coil and plug still nothing.Man I love chasing gremlins..lol

OK so I tried the cdi trick of unhooking the kill switch wire and it fired right up the only thing is it doesn't actually have a kill switch just an on off ignition switch but it looked fine.I'm not sure if it has other safety switches, neutral, clutch any of those but i know that trick bypasses all of them.
