Well folks I placed my first order this morning with Taobao for several parts including the 13 tooth C/S and then some possible replacement parts for up the road, things that I may need and can't get from my deal (no spare parts in stock here), just do it myself.

I set up an account with http://www.taobaotrends.com/ as per SpudRider's comments and one with http://www.engtaobao.com/ as per (???) can't remember his name  but thanks for the information. Setting up the account was easy with both and I was going to place the same items in both account shopping carts so I could compare the item price and shipping costs but...

The engtaobao went just fine, copy and paste the item url and all very easy but they only accept a Visa or MasterCard for payment and I had wanted to use PayPal.

With Taobaotrends setting up account was easy and copy and paste the URL and then I got the notice (as did the other member that mentioned engtaobao)

"CAN WE Appreciate if you make payment by Western Union for the new orders, pls Click here for the information by Western Union .
The bank agree to integrate the Credit Cart payment function to our site, but they ask us build a shopping cart at www.taobaotrends.com, the products at our site are only for exhibition.
2015.09.09":hmm:

Well that's a pain. I'd have to go into town about a kilometer (not bad) but filling out the papers and the hassle  it is to go through that just isn't easy, they are very slow at the Western Union branches, not that "easy, shop at home" that I wanted (lazy me).

So now I'll wait and see how it all goes and give you an up date.

Now I need to get into the city this week and see if I can locate a 46 tooth rear sprocket or I'll order it on eBay.

Thanks again to all of you that have provided so much valuable information on all of this. Knowing about Taobao will be a big help to me here in Iloilo, Panay, Philippines. As I've mentioned, my Motorstar dealer has no stock on hand and if you order something they have no clue as to how long it will take to get in; absolutely terrible customer service. So with you guy's help and Taobao, heck, I can order just about any part I will need and this will make my ownership of this RX3 more pleasurable:clap:.

:thanks:

Sincerely,

Good for you.

Until CSC receives its shipment of custom sprockets, the only way to fit a 46T rear sprocket to your RX3 is to modify the sprocket carrier, as shown in the following thread. ;)

http://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=15125

If you modify your sprocket carrier, you can order a JTR811.46 sprocket. This sprocket fits the Suzuki DR200 bikes, so you might also find a 46T rear sprocket for that motorcycle. ;)

Are you saying that www.taobaotrends.com (http://www.taobaotrends.com) no longer accepts Paypal?

I made my last purchase, as all the others, with PayPal. Perhaps RB is having problems in the Philippines?

Yes, TaobaoTrends is having problems with its server. I made my last two payments to that different PayPal account. Everything was kosher, and both transactions progressed normally. ;)

Well once I got the order placed properly, silly me... I somehow accidently "cancelled my first order after paying for it, took me a ew days to log back in and see "cancelled":wtf:

So I reordered the items on 9-23-15 and finished the transaction 9-27 and they shipped 9-28.

28/09/2015 23:24 Departed from export office Shanghai
01/10/2015 01:11 Arrived at destination import office Manila

Now it will be interesting to see how long it takes to get to me in Tigbauan from Manila.

Looking forward to getting that 13 C/S and heading for the hills.

Again, SpudRider and all the others for the info on Taobao, this will make my ownership of The Zong nicer.:yay:

Unfortunately I'm having a very hard time getting the 13 C/S .

My first order arrived in a reasonable time considering where I live. BUT... the seller I used for all the parts on this first order did ok with everything except the C/S... The single most important items (I ordered two), the other things were secondary, just taking advantage of some possible back up items on hand and take advantage of the shipping costs.

The supplier I used is http://world.taobao.com/item/39099439130.htm?fromSite=main / (http://world.taobao.com/item/39099439130.htm?fromSite=main)Zongshen original authentic accessories / Cheng (http://shop73063236.world.taobao.com/?spm=a312a.7700824.0.0.zJmQSz)
I'm not happy with them at this point and probably not use them again

They clearly show in the picture and description a 13 C/S but sent 14. Since I didn't think to ask the Taobao agent to take pictures of the items I didn't realize this until they arrived. The Agent has been good to work with so far, responsive and seems helpful. EngtaobaoSales (engtaobao@live.com).

So, I placed another order with EngtaobaoSales (engtaobao@live.com) and used the same original seller, and again they sent 14 tooth sprockets >: but this time EngtaobaoSales checked them, they have contacted the seller and will have them replaced with 13 or they will secure from another seller....

I really need to change that front sprocket for the riding conditions I get into. That and the rear to the 45 and I'm going to replace my new rear tire, a 140/80-17, Samsun Dual Sport with a Shinko 244 in a 4.60 - 17, I finally located one in Manila. That 140/80-17 is just too tall, makes some of the riding a bit more difficult at times with the ground being so far away .

I'm liking the bike as I get to ride it more, just need to do the fine tuning, just as I had done on all my past bikes .

You're correct; the photographs show a 13T sprocket. However, the heading at the top of the page says it is a 14T sprocket. :hmm:

NC250 drive sprocket (52,014)

I always request photographs of every item before I pay the shipping costs. ;)

Do you have a size 3.00-17 rim? If so, the 4.60-17 tire will not fit well, since it is designed for 2.15-17 rim. :ohno: If this is the case, I suggest you look for a size 5.10-17, Shinko 244 tire. ;)

If you wish, start a new thread on this topic. Post the size of your rim, and I will suggest a variety of tires which will perform even better in muddy conditions. :) You don't travel much at high speeds, do you?
