carb with excel pump?

Ok I bought a MIKUNI carb 30mm carb. but want one with a excel pump on it.. any Idea?

I'm pretty sure excel= accelerator.

If jetted & adjusted properly, can reduce the lean condition when the throttle is opened quickly at low rpm which reduces air velocity in the venturi, resulting in a momentary lean condition.

It squirts a shot of fuel in the carb when you squeeze the throttle. That way you don't wait for the vacuum to increase to gain more fuel mix.
Any how the question was what are you guys running on your mikuni carbs 30mm on 250cc bikes?

every motor / carb combo are diffrent...
for a 250 I would start with 145/150 main... 50/52 pilot .. needle on the middle clip..
air screw 2 to 2 1/2 turns out...

that will give a START point only.............

I have a 27mm china keihin with the excel pump .Im building a xr200r motor to put in a cr125
I wanted something to keep throttle up between shifts .Thats what they do give a little Spitz of fuel after throttle pull. I have a 27mm and a 30mm. Need to buy a 93 cr125 ,best turning radius of all mx bike and light.so 4t torque will rock plus fuel efficiency, my friend built one and it weighs 206 ! I want to know if xr200 cam fits in china 200 cc. If china was really smartthey would build there version of it. THIS IS THE BIKE HONDA SSHOULD HAVE BUILT. Its fast but with torque!

Its all good,, My bike is the 250E that has that water cooled LONCIN motor, bone stock but I wanted to start making it breath better,, :thanks:

Ok, your 250E might actually be a 229, but that's close enough for now. At 500 feet, you're pretty close to sea level, so you'd want a rather fat mixture. With a stock intake and exhaust, I'd start with a #30 slow jet and a #115 main. Put the needle in the middle position. Keep and eye on the plug, and make sure it's not too light. If it is, change the main jet to a larger size.
