I'v been looking at these bikes for quite a while...but i cant seem to work up the guts to buy one. All i know about them is they're supposedly made by thardus motor co of norway. Its called a factory TXM 250cc check it out here. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Other-Makes-dirt-motorbike-moto-Off-Road-Dirt-bike-250cc-250-cc-4-stroke-Many-Upgrades_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6719QQihZ009QQ itemZ190144851299QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW[url]

Sure looks like the Zongshen 250 in there. Frame is very different from all the other 250's based on that engine. Looks pretty neat.

For the price, it looks ok. I would look around and compare with the Hummer bikes. If you go to the home page here, and click on the group links, one of the groups is dedicated to the pure dirt Hummer bikes which seem to have a good reputation among its owners.

Well if anyone knows anyone who has one or if anyone chooses to pick one up themselves. Be sure to post about it. I really want to know how these things are.

To say we have them here in the UK is a little misleading, we have 2 sellers:
http://www.pembrokeshire4x4.co.uk/ProductDetail.asp?category=Bikes&urn=454
http://www.battlequads.co.uk/cgi-bin/store4/commerce.cgi?pid=134.htm
I doubt if many (if any) have been sold, here in the UK learners are on 125cc bikes and most GY's are this size, the 200cc Chinese GY's are very rare although the 250cc road bikes are gaining in popularity. The market for bikes between 125 and 500cc is very small. The 300 seems a good spec, alloy rims and stainless exhaust but at 22bhp what's the point? It's hardly any more that our 200/250cc bikes. If the Chinese were to produce a Honda clone of about 350/450cc producing 30bhp, supply spares, and keep the price to about £2000 ($4000) they might have a winner. The bottom line is we are all prepared to spend "throw away" money on a Chinese bike, if it turns out to be junk we've not had out fingers too burnt, but larger amounts the bike's got to be 110%.
