Anyone know of a good deal on these items?

Gel Grips.

footpegs, Need something with some bite and wider to boot.

Longer shifter with folding tip, Hard to get my boot between shifter and peg.

Some sort of small tube or box to carry registration, insurance, forest permit in?

Aftermarket tach? Thinking about a digital.

Some sort of windshield for the 40* days.

A cheap set of bark busters more to keep small branches off me.

Anyone run a cylinder temp gauge like snowmobiles used to have?

at least i can help u on the toolbox. search the site for a harbor freight map tube. its a perfect tool/waterproof etc case that fits under left rear plastic with two stainless hose clamps. costs like 5.00 us and is Perfect. comes in emergency orange and you can paint to suit. single/best addition i have made.i didnt find it, but look for thread here. also supports my saddle bags on left side :}
my bro uses a shifter from the kawa shop. need a smaller bolt and a bit of grinding to ensure clearance.
if u just pop the rubber out of the existing pegs they are serviceable. bro opted for aftermarket bearclaws. had to tweak the existing mounts just a bit with a wrench and they fit just fine.
i liked the look of the moskva bags someone here posted a photo of on his bike but pretty much any generic saddle bags will work once you have the map tube mounted.
