As requested by Mr Spud.....

Is not quit what I wanted but had to make it user freindly for the passanger...
The bike will still lean in the corners as the bike leans the car steers into the
corner...

The basic frame almost complete & tacted togeather.. the sub frame for it to mount
to under the bike is done... the swing arm has a 3:1 leaverage ratio but think I will
change that to a 2:1... the arm is stainless steel & the bottom shock mount will
be adjustable so it's easy to level the car for what ever load is in it...
still has to have the grap rail & a cross tube behind where the seat will go..
then put it up to the bike work out the rear mount tube... the car pivots on
3/4 heim joints & there will be a sliding limiter strut for the lean angle left & right..
The car steering in the corners is done by putting the front mount higher than the
rear so as the bike leans the front mount has a longer arc ratio than the rear so it
pushes or pulls the front of the car out/in more than the rear so the car changes its angles
in compaired to the bike..." Clear as mud??? "
there will be 400mm of ground clearance under the car so you can go on tracks with
deep! wheel ruts....
it will be paneled in 2mm alloy sheet that will fit inside the tubes so the tubes will
be visable....

I plan to build a leaner sidecar eventually also - love reading build threads.

I see a mistake already; the sidecar will be on the wrong side of the bike! :D

Pete, thanks for sharing this terrific build with us. I'm looking forward to seeing how you work out the "sliding limiter strut". I'm fascinated by the engineering you've put into this.

That's over 15" of ground clearance! You'll be able to take this thing anywhere.

all in the rough at the moment but the basics are all there..
needs a good few hours to finish the welding & clean everything up...
infact theres a lot of cleaning up before it can be seen in public...
