Hey everyone! looking to get a fuel filter to try keep my carb clean now that I found out what was causing it to run so weird.

Does anyone know the gas line size on the Hawk?

I'm guessing its a 1/4" line, but im not sure.

Thanks for your help! :thanks:

Any small inline filter would work. I'd suggest taking your existing line off, checking the size and replacing it with the clear snow machine line at the same time. China rubber in generally horrible and needs to be replaced anyway. The fuel line loves to break down on the inside where you can't see it. Wait till you see how "skin thin" your inner tubes are when you take off a tire! Hopefully they've improved over the last decade.

just popped in to check the thread but in regards to the tire issue 2LZ mentioned, my friend actually just replaced the rear tube on his Hawk and yes it was pretty flimsy looking according to the tech that changed the tube. Good thing is the new tube was only $12 so he bought 2 one more my bike and one for his
