I have a friend looking for a hawk. Killer Motorsports and Superior Powersports are both out of stock.

APS has them, but not as good of a price point. however, I know their reputation is pretty good here, right?

He tried calling TXPowersports, but no one answered the phone. based on what others have posted here, it's not a good retailer option. agree?

lastly, Motobuys lists a VENTO model which looks identical to the hawk, but also lists a diff manufacturer. anyone know about them?

I would wait for one of them to get the hawks back in stock these are a very popular enduro so it shouldn't be too long of a wait, I wouldn't deal with TXpowersports unless you like getting screwed because thats what they will do to you. I know because it's where i got mine the shipping was really quick only 4 days but the customer service was horrible, but this was just my experience yours could be different. (I would go with the RPS brand because it's listed on Geico's insurable motorcycle list) as the (HAOSEN HAWK 250cc).

APSCUSA may be a few bucks more but you'll have a PROPERLY filled out MSO a few days after you get your bike and no phone tag for answers.....
