Saw this on one of the mega motorcycle forums.
Zongshen is making this little gem for Aprilia.
Good looking, but I like the RX3 better.

It's a standard China CB motor; one could easily unbolt it and drop in a CB250, which is actually closer to 230.

I like the rear suspension on this bike.
most folks consider a single shock rear to be superior to dual shock...

The original reason for the single shock was to make the butt skinny. Most of these bikes have wide rear ends so it's just a matter of preference and set up.

As do their riders . (I apologize lord)

My butt is still small enough to not be a Coleman rider and thinks the Hawk seat is good but my belly is big enough to show you some crack in the back if I lean forward
I also think Azhule floats and doesn't need a seat.

I think a single shock can be superior to a dual shock, if it has a sophisticated leverage system. CB's don't have (yet) that sophisticated system to make these better than a dual shock set up.

there are a number of reasons why serious sport bikes (on or off road) all use single shocks rear ends. 1) mass centralization, single shock is closer to the center line of the bike, and closer to the center of mass, more forward. 2) Quality/cost. It is twice as expensive to make a twin shock setup with the same quality damper as the single shock. 3) consistency, obviously there is no need to "match" the damping/spring between shocks when you only have one. 4) exhaust tuckability, single shock resides in wasted space, twin shocks force many muffler further out.
YMMV

YMMVAnd 5) The most important one. It makes the bike look up to the minute, got that high tech look. Easier to sell. More bling for the buck.
