I've been seeing these dirt bikes on cl called "supermoto" . Looks like a dirt bike with small wheels and street tires.
If u put smaller wheels on a hawk would it increase top speed on street?
Like changing sprockets?

A bigger rear wheel would cover more ground per revolution then a smaller rear wheel so its safe to say that a bigger rear wheel is faster then a smaller rear wheel with equal transmission and final gearing.

One of the appeals of a supermoto is the handling ability. By switching to 17" rims and sport bike tires front and rear, you end up with a very predictable bike on pavement. Forget about trail riding in that configuration.

There is a saying, "Different horses for different courses". This "new" bike, the Magician, is sort of a pavement and graded road bike, set up for top end. The Hawk leans more to the dirt and trail bike side of the coin. Engine tuned for mid-range pulling power.
