So I got the hawk and ran it with stock oil about 15 miles then I change it with Castrol 20w-50 motorcycle oil the stock oil was very dark. Since I change the oil I have 130miles+, so the question is how many miles till I change it again?

Thanks Tony

I would change it to a synthetic 20W-50 at 500 miles. Then every 1000 miles from there on out, if it was mine.

Also taking into account how much dust it's breathing in. Still , synthetic is good stuff and can be stretched so you kinda just have to watch on how quickly it is getting thick and black.

I usually check out at around 1000 miles. Books say 2000km which is about 1200mi so 1000 to 1500miles is about right.

1 qt is cheap.

I wouldn't wait too long. I'd be curious about what's in the strainer.

Is there a PDF of the owners manual? I never got one with my bike. If so where can I access it
