China is planning to add graphics to our bikes, looking for feedback. Personally, I think the Hawk has too much yellow, and I think some people (at least with Black) are going to want solid colors.

Tacky but I'm an older dude and I know our opinion doesn't mean much.

I'm inclined to agree, that's why I'm asking for feedback. China recognizes that some people want graphics, but that doesn't mean these are the graphics they want. I'm sure other people will still want solid colors... of course, they can always peel the stickers off but that's a hassle.

Most of us here are older. I don't like those graphics and would pull them off.

A image of a dude riding a motorcycle on my motorcycle is a little odd.

Is that an upgraded front disk I see?

My personal opinion is those specific graphics make it look extremely cheap. We all know that they are cheap, but these advertise cheap for people that didnt know any better. They look like stickers that would be on a childs ride on toy. lol

The first mod on my Hawk was removing the stickers

Not a fan of the graphics shown. I prefer solid color bikes.I'm 40 years old,and not really into the racy looking graphics.I like low key looks.

I'm also surprised by how many older people are buying these bikes.

Do not like. The graphics need to come in the box just like the other assembly parts.

Jayman and pistol are correct .

Graphhics are good if tastefully done

The black and red side panels in the photoshop image of the Hawk do look good though and I mean that in a good way.

The graphics should match the bike and those remind me of the 90's motocross bikes when fuchsia, yellow and many other colors were over used.

Like I said, I'm inclined to agree, I think these graphics look bad. If they do add graphics, does anyone have an idea what might look good? I am definitely going to tell them to keep sending solid color bikes, as some people don't want any graphics.

Same here. I'm a Tacky old dude lol. Makes it look cheap. Like a bad leisure suit. :hehe: Now I'm telling my age. Mono color but maybe just different graphic than whats on the Hawk now. Include both with the unit and let the buyer decide. To be honest graphics aren't that important. What these bikes should come with is at least a 45 tooth rear sprocket, digital cluster with tach, and an o-ring chain.

In the case of the Hawk, this means a better quality chain, and better swing arm bushings. Don't think only the Chinese do this. I recall two of my friends at GM complaining about the stylists wanting to add two more tail lights, and engineering wanting indium-bronze lined con-rod bearings. The stylists won.

According to the owners manual on page 41 it tells you how to maintain your O-ring chain. :hmm: Maybe I should request an O-ring chain since I didn't get one. Sorry Adam didn't mean to get off topic.

Not that I find them horribly offensive. I just think that they should look what the Japanese folks are doing with graphics and do that. Nothing worse than wearing a mullet when a flat top is in style.

Sorry Adam didn't mean to get off topic.Far as I know, Hawks never came with o-ring chain. This kind of information often gets into owners manuals and catalogs by mistake, as the catalog and owners manual are printed quite often before all the spec. decisions have been made.

But then they will be forced to increase the price of the bike and it will no longer look attractive. The stickers only cost a dollar to make.

I know. The manual is actually half way decent compared to one that came with my daughters ATV. I needed a translator to translate the English. Assembly instructions would of been nice. There were a couple of pieces I was like :hmm:. Thanks for YouTube. Now lets get back on Topic. Solid color graphic. Maybe an actual Hawk on the Tank.

I guess my feedback would be while not horrible as far as graphics go they do cheapen the look of the bike. For some reason looks like something I'd buy at Toys R Us as opposed to a serious motorcycle.

I agree with the other comments that money would be better spent on upgrades to the hard parts.

I was thinking of a letter "H", about 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 with short wings, either going up at about 22 degrees, or down, and longer, at about 15 degrees, done in gold.

Gold would look good on the red. Silver on Black, Green And Blue. Maybe just the Hawk Head with short wings going down.

Those graphics on the Hawk are horrendous. The body lines of the Hawk are what make it look the way it does. Send them a few pictures of higher end bikes like the new Zero Motorcycles or motard bikes. They are clean and nice. They would be better to save the money on the stickers, yes it is only a few cents on the dollar per bike for them maybe, but if they invested in a single go to buyer site for all of their parts for the bikes so any motorcycle shop in the world could order parts for them, those shops would service the bikes and help make their business successful all the way around.

YES--the more subtle, the more 'serious' a bike looks. Chinese bikes, as GeneralTso mentioned, look like 'toys' with all the graphics they throw on! The Bros 150 graphics are what Haosen should be aiming towards, not the kid-stuff that many bikes come with (I am guessing the higher ups at Haosen are fearful that other companies putting gaudy graphics on their bikes to make them look like toys are stealing sales from them!).

If you have to have graphics, the TMEC Denali 200 graphics are more 'mature' IMO

I agree with someone on the first age (already forgot who). Just include them in the box. I bet most would just toss them. I would've taken any and all graphics off if mine had had any

Early on I pulled the "Hawk" decals off the tank and then removed same lettering from the seat and handle bar cushion. I used a tiny bit of acetone on a rag (a few wipes) and then wiped clean with soap and water.
