Progressive shock install issues

For those who have installed the Progessive shock I have a question
Concerning the shouldered sleeve spacers.
(I tried calling CSC but they are closed today.)

So my shock came with two shouldered sleeve spacers in the top mount and
They were held in position with a zip tie.
Those were only about 7/8" wide and the stock shock is 1.250"

They included an extra set of wider spacers but they were 1.290" and so .040"
Too wide.
I have tried to insert those into the top mount but they are just a bit too wide.

Can anyone shed some light on this ?

My Progressive shock has those spacers in the lower mount. See if the supplied spacers fit the lower mount rather than the upper one.

I have the spacers for the bottom mount also and they fit correctly.

Bottom spacers can only go at the bottom because the mounting bolt is a smaller diameter.

I received 2 sets of spacers for the top and one set is too narrow and the 2nd is too wide by .040"

Ok,so I had talk with CSC Gerry and he informed me that you have to open it up just a hair with a hammer and a drift cause when Zongshen torqued the top shock mount bolt down It slightly collapses the frame cradle mount.
Sure enough I went out and with 1 blow that was enough to have her slide in.
So there to all you future Proggesive shock installers.

BTW,I did not have to touch the tank to R&R the shock.
and I used a rounded broom handle so I could push the air box inlet rubber down so I
Could push the mounting bolt by.
Install the bolt then from the opposite direction when you put the new shock on so you won't have to mess with the air box rubber inlet.

Perfect time to lube your suspension links and swing arm with the shock install.

That is the plan! I got a jump start on it by pulling the rear wheel, middle plastics and enough bolts to tilt the tank out of the way and have the dogbone and shock out. Tomorrow I'll get the new shock mounted, dogbones lubed and everything re-assembled....hopefully!!! Then to bribe the wife to assist me with race sag adjustments.
