My nephew wants a scooter. Where has the best prices on a 49cc scooter that you have seen?

I am biased towards TGB scooters, but those are $2k. Bullet-proof but I am guessing your nephew wants the bargain priced Chinese scooter. Call Alan at 909-591-8800 for Taotao (or to ask about the TGB's and where your local dealer is) and see what price he can get on a Taotao. The only issue is that he would only be dealing with the Chino, Calif. warehouse, so shipping cross-country might be a deal-killer vs. closer dealers who will drop-ship out of one of the east coast Taotao warehouses. Couldn't hurt to ask

yeah he's looking at spending $600. I think they are buying 3 of them. My 70 year old Dad wants one, and 2 of my nephews.

My ole man's last bike was a Goldwing. This will probably feel a little different. :)

A friend bought one of the BWS 50 scooters when Excalibur was selling the Lintex brand scooters, and if you look on Taotao's site, they also have a BWS under 'clearance.' Not the same brand, but identical at leat in looks, and both being Chinese, I am sure they are near identical. I liked my friend's scooter due to the wide wheels/tires. My guess is even on 'clearance' it will cost more than the boring-looking bargain ATM-50 or whatever it is called, but your nephew should ask about the BWS 50 for whatever it is worth.
